Breakfast at IHOP with Grandma and Grandpa. Four-hour nap. Dinner at The Pie. Bowling. Then TWO fireworks displays. FUN, FUN, FUN!!
We hadn't been bowling as a family in YEARS. In fact, Logan and Braxton's only experience with bowling was with a Wii remote. They both caught on quickly and LOVED it. Braxton started off with the kiddie ramp and then graduated to rolling the ball down the lane. He was excited to wear the bowling shoes and practically cried when he found out he couldn't keep them. He was also completely entranced by the ball return and stood next to it watching the balls. The bowling alley had computerized bumpers that would raise and lower for the younger kids turns. Everyone has a great time and all the kids said we should do it again...SOON!

Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House
Today we took our family through the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Mike, Carly and I had already served as ushers, but Mike and I had never been inside until today. What a beautiful temple! I'm so excited for the dedication and for the work to begin! What a blessing!

Braxton has a unique way of wearing his tie.

Angel Moroni was struck by lightning a few weeks ago and you can still see the burn marks on his arm, trumpet, face and underneath the sphere he is standing on.
